Libellu, a family-owned company with its own brand, is launching a Moses basket set with a wooden base - the cradle. Carmen Medic and Ana Donhauser work together in the company.

The product combines ELEGANCE with a touch of nostalgia and can be a sophisticated addition to the ambiance.

We chose the name of the company after a dragonfly. "The origin of the name libellula comes from the Latin word libra, which means scales, because its horizontal wings in the air resemble balanced scales in the air. Others believe that the name comes from the Latin word labellum, which is a diminutive of the word liber = FREEDOM"“

What does the MILA set contain? The set includes a handmade Moses basket, a wooden base, a mattress made of natural latex and cotton, a blanket and a sheet.

Thinking about the planet/material: All textile materials are tested and are safe for the youngest. The cotton yarn we use is made from recycled material. It requires neither water nor toxic chemicals to produce.

The cotton sheet is made from the highest quality material. The cotton is organically sourced and is not bleached or dyed later during processing. It doesn't get more natural than this.

The mattress is made of natural latex, which is covered in high quality and soft cotton. Natural latex is friendly to people and the environment and ensures a good sleeping climate.

The blanket is hand-sewn from two layers of double woven 100% cotton muslin. Muslin is a airy breathable, pleasant to the touch material, suitable for babies who are not yet able to regulate their own body temperature.

The wooden base is the finishing touch in this story. We use Slovenian beech wood, which is sustainably sourced, which ensures the protection and BALANCE of the forests. The wooden base is made in cooperation with us by a local carpenter. For protection, we use oil that is safe for children's products. Each set is unique, as the finished product requires a lot of manual work.
